Within the Center of Competency team, the Industry Consultant's primary responsibility will be participating in the development, sale and delivery of solutions to EVAid clients. Consultants are also required to have knowledge of state and municipal regulations in accordance to health and safety practices.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Manages ongoing sales process, develops relationship, responds to and anticipates customer needs.
Builds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision making process to drive the system technology sales of EVAid offerings.
Demonstrates technical expertise and business acumen to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.
Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with multiple contractors and consultants responsible for the decision making of systems purchases.
Demonstrates technical industry knowledge and provides solutions that match the customer’s project challenge to provide value to the customer and favorably position EVAid.
Addresses customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements.
Frequently creates competitive, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis.
Effectively writes, presents and communicates bids. Negotiates value, addresses resistance when demonstrated and closes the sale.
Differentiates EVAid as a medical supply distributor.
Requirements
The qualified candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in consulting with private sector clients and 3 year of work experience in their specified field. Good communication and time management skills, and self-motivation. Team work and professionalism is a priority as Industry Consultants must be willing to work with co-workers and external parties as needed.
Experience in logistics or operations is strongly preferred.
